1. Shipping Policy

1.1 Domestic Shipping Only

ESS ships to all 50 states within the USA. We do not offer international shipping at this time.

1.2 Order Processing

Orders for hardware (CCTV, Access Control, etc.) are typically processed within 1-3 business days. Please note that we do not ship on weekends or federal holidays.

1.3 Shipping Rates & Delivery

Shipping costs are calculated at checkout based on the weight, dimensions, and destination of your order. Standard delivery times generally range from 3-7 business days depending on your proximity to San Diego, CA.

1.4 Tracking Your Order

Once your order has been dispatched, you will receive a confirmation email containing a tracking number.

1.5 Shipping Liability

ESS is not responsible for products lost or stolen after the carrier has confirmed delivery. If your package arrives damaged, please retain all packaging materials and contact the carrier immediately to file a claim.

2. Return & Refund Policy

We strive to ensure your equipment meets your professional standards. Our return policy is designed to be fair and transparent.

2.1 Physical Products (Hardware)

We offer a 15-day return window from the date of delivery. To qualify for a full refund, the following conditions must be met:

  • Unopened Product Packaging: While you are welcome to open the external shipping box for inspection, the original manufacturer’s packaging/product box must remain sealed and unopened.
  • Condition: The product must be unused and in the same condition as received.
  • Completeness: All manuals, accessories, and components must be included in the return

2.2 Subscriptions

All subscription sales are final. No money back or refunds will be issued once a subscription has been purchased or activated. By purchasing a subscription service, you acknowledge that the service is non-refundable.

2.3 Non-Returnable Items

  • Any product where the manufacturer’s seal or internal packaging has been brok
  • Items that have been installed, mounted, or configured.
  • Custom-ordered equipment or special-order items.

3. The Return Process

3.1 No Restocking Fees

At ESS, we believe in straightforward pricing. We do not charge restocking fees. If your return meets the “unopened” criteria, you will receive a 100% refund of the product purchase price.

3.2 How to Return

  • Request an RMA: You must contact our San Diego office at [Insert Email/Phone] to receive a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) number.
  • Shipping Costs: Customers are responsible for the shipping costs associated with returning the item. These costs are non-refundable.
  • Address: All returns must be shipped to our San Diego headquarters with the RMA clearly marked on the exterior shipping label.

4. Refunds

Upon receipt and inspection of your return, we will notify you via email regarding the approval or rejection of your refund.

  • If Approved: A full refund for the product price will be processed to your original method of payment within 5-10 business days.
  • If Rejected: If the product packaging was found to be opened or damaged, the item will be returned to you at your expense and no refund will be issued.
