Description
The HALO Back Box is a surface-mount enclosure designed for HALO 3C and HALO 3C-PC Smart Sensors. It is required any time wire mold or external conduit is used to route Ethernet or wiring to the device — for example, on hard ceilings or other surfaces where in-wall cable routing is not feasible. The back box gives the install a clean, finished appearance and ensures cabling is properly enclosed and protected. ESS recommends including a back box on projects with surface-mounted conduit or non-standard ceiling types so installations remain neat, code-compliant, and serviceable. This is an accessory and must be paired with a HALO 3C or 3C-PC sensor.
